The Triple Door venue is located in the historic Mann building of Seattle, Washington. The building first opened its doors to the public in 1926, when it operated as a vaudeville house. As the popularity of films rose, what was then The Embassy Theatre changed its function to a movie house. Indeed, The Triple Door as we know it today didn't come into being until 2003 after the venue underwent a significant renovation as a result of coming under new ownership in 1999. Though the new and improved venue features an award-winning menu, plush seating and state-of-the-art sound, it has still managed to keep some of the signature characteristics of the original theater. Today, The Triple Door has become one of Seattle's classiest hot spots for live music and cocktails.From Folk and Indie to R&B and World music, The Triple Door schedule represents a wide variety of genres.
